RIPTIDE – Acrylic on Canvas – 90 x 60 cms SOLD
A riptide is a stretch of shifting water in the sea, caused by the meeting of currents or abrupt changes in depth. Here, four bodies of water are meeting and colliding, throwing up sand in the turbulence. The lovely mix of sand and tropical water, and the Australian artist, Glenn Farhquar, were the inspiration for this piece.
