When I pictured Melt-Water in my mind, I wanted to paint a river bed that was filled with rushing water.  Melt-water is a spring thaw that results from snow and ice melting in North American rivers.  Sometimes called a freshet, a spring thaw can last for several weeks on large rivers, depending on the depth of the snow.  The melt-water can impact flood plains and, the deeper the snow, the more severe the flooding.

This  artwork  is  signed on the back and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
It comes ready to hang and, because it is finished with a coat of high-gloss resin, it does not need to be framed.

Limited edition prints are available.  Please do email me for a price, which will depend on the size you require.
